Optional fail safe shut-off valve. (To be used with U.V. Monitor or Lamp-Out Circuit Board) When the UV Monitor detects a lower than safe UV intensity or bulb out condition, this solenoid automatically shuts off the water supply.

This optional true U.V. Monitor reads only the 254-nm intensity output of the ultraviolet light within the U.V. treatment chamber. This U.V. monitor unit has built in alarms to warn of inefficient performance or lamp failure.

The Lamp Out circuit board is a solid state current detection device that has an audible alarm and a solenoid relay normal open (NO) or normal close (NC). It can operate the fail safe shut-off solenoid.
